Steve Gray

I took up photography when I retired a few years ago. I enjoy studying the work of different photographers and painters for inspiration as well as learning about the technical aspects of photography. I enjoy my photography out with friends a well as my solo trips. As you can see from some of my favourite images below I experiment with different styles and genres but tend to revert to architectural and street photography.

Art Spaces

Since joining Gamma I have set myself some different projects. My first project I called Art Spaces and captures the places that people interact with artwork both indoors and out in the streets.

Strangers

I wanted to capture images of strangers out in the city streets of the UK. These ranged from anonymous distant silhouettes to close up portraits of strangers whose paths I crossed only for as long as it took me to capture their image.
