If I had to describe myself, I’d say I was a landscape photographer, with increasingly a bit of architecture, street and abstract thrown in. I’m definitely not into wildlife, or sport, or anything fast-moving. I’m happiest when my camera is on a tripod and I can take my time to find and create a composition. But what I’m really looking for is that combination of light, shape, and tone. Colour or black and white. In many ways the subject doesn’t matter. And if there is a story to be told, then better still.

Visitor to London
The panel uses the multiple exposure technique to show the experience of a visitor to London. Each image in the multiple exposure is just as the visitor would have seen it, but they become a blur when blended, just like the visitor’s memory.
Through Glass
Photographing people through glass creates a degree of abstraction, an impression of the person, removed from sharp reality.
Street
These photographs show people in the street. They are not intended to be portraits, but rather show the person as a part of the urban landscape.
Architecture
The constructed landscape can so often, but not always, be full of beauty. It is one of my favourite subjects
Water
Photographing water presents many opportunities and choices. I'm usually drawn to a minimalist presentation, using water to simplify the scene in front of me
Scapes
Scapes is a catch all for all types of views, be they landscape, water scape, sea scape, sky scapes and more.
