Les Forrester, BA Hons photo, ARPS
Les focus is contemporary architecture drawn from all over Europe, producing images with a distinctive soft look and feel, often high key, and always beautifully composed. Currently based in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, Les enjoys life away from the hustle of the city, where he pursues his passion for capturing contemporary architecture. His style is often described as soft in both look and color, but it’s more than that—each building dictates its own aesthetic. Some demand a touch of vibrance, while others speak naturally in monochrome.
An avid traveler, Les has an ever-growing list of architectural wonders across Europe that he hopes to visit one day.
In 2022, he was honored as Architecture Photographer of the Year at the British Photography Awards. He continues to collaborate with Kase Filters UK, working with their Wolverine Magnetic Circular ND Filters to refine his artistic vision.
Living in the Yorkshire Dales offers plenty of opportunities for long walks through breathtaking scenery—often ending with a well-earned stop at a local hostelry. It’s a far cry from the bustling energy of city architecture, but the contrast fuels his creativity.

Phil Punton
I covered my first wedding at the age of 17. Prior to this my passion for photography, first with a range of film cameras then eventually moving to digital set me up to provide a comprehensive photography service. I was completely self taught first using a dark room built in my parent’s home then eventually moving to digital photography and learning from books but mainly through work experience. My skill behind the camera grew quickly and my confidence with people was and still is an important factor in my success behind the camera.

Warren Alani, ARPS, MPAGB, AFIAP, ABPE
Warren Alani is a photographer based in Northamptonshire, UK. He picked up his first camera as a teenager – a Zenit ET 35mm SLR. This was where his obsession with photography began. In 2009, Warren decided to turn his past-time into something bigger. Taking the knowledge and skills he learned during his youth, he immersed himself in the new age of cutting-edge technology and turned his hobby into craft.
In just a few short years, Warren has cultivated a clear artistic direction and a distinctive style in his work. His photography particularly focuses on sports, portraiture, architecture and travel, as well as street-style snapshots taken on the spur of the moment.
His acute attention to detail has earned him recognition from national and international bodies such as The Royal Photographic Society and the FIAP. Warren has also been awarded an honour distinction from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain, as well as having his work displayed around the world at the Masters Of Print exhibition (for eight consecutive years), in the revered London Salon of Photography, and at his own exhibitions in the U.K. and in Europe. In 2022, Warren was awarded the FIAP Blue Pin for Most Acceptances at the world-famous Edinburgh Photographic Society’s international exhibition.
His work has been featured in many prominent photography publications such as the International Digital Camera magazine and The Royal Photographic Society Travel Year Book, amongst many others. In recent years, Warren has become a highly engaged member of the photography community, and a proud member of the Smethick Photographic Society. When he’s not chasing the perfect exposure, you can find him regularly presenting talks, workshops and lectures at photography clubs all over the U.K.
